Obituary: Roth, Coreen “Corky”

ROTH, Coreen “Corky” Coreen “Corky” LaBelle Borsheim Roth was born September 4, 1938, and passed away September 25, 2013 after a long and arduous fight with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dedri, son Jondi, one sister, Loretta Borsheim Gund, and her parents, Otto Borsheim and Nerine Alisch Lennon.

Surviving are her daughters, Dianne Hill, Stareen Stephens, Kandi Rice and Jonelle Garcia, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four siblings, Wayne Borsheim, Michael Borsheim, Elyn Borsheim Meyers, and Daryl Borsheim, beloved stepdad, John Lennon, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and aunties.

Coreen achieved her associate degree in accounting from Spokane Community College and worked for Barton Oldsmobile in Spokane until her retirement in 2001.

Corky, as she was known to her friends, loved to watch baseball, square dance, knit, crochet, sing and play pool.

She cherished her family and friends.

She will be buried in Fairmount Memorial Cemetery, on October 5, 2013, at 3:00 in the afternoon beside her daughter, Dedri.

Donations can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Spokane in lieu of flowers.
