He passed away of cancer on September 27, 2013 in Spokane, WA He is survived by his wife, Sharon, children: James, Elmer, Jennifer; grandchildren: Stacy, Michael, James.
A celebration of Elmer’s life will be at the Spokane VFW Post 51, 300 W. Mission at 1:30 PM, Sunday, October 6th.
Elmer was a loving man and former Marine who cared deeply for his family and friends.
He took great delight in spending time with his children watching baseball at the Spokane Indians games.
He loved sitting outside with his many dogs and riding his lawnmower even if he was not mowing the lawn.
He always had great stories about being a truck driver and a Marine.
We will miss him dearly, and hold him in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, please come join us at the VFW to celebrate how he lived and not how he died.
