Percy Harvin rejoins Seahawks

NFL: Coach Pete Carroll says wide receiver Percy Harvin has rejoined the Seattle Seahawks and is prepared to take the next step in his recovery from hip surgery.

Harvin tweeted Monday that he was back with the team and Carroll said Harvin is ready to take the “next level” in his training. Carroll said Harvin is running and went through a workout with trainers Monday.

Harvin is on the physically unable to perform list and is not eligible to come off until after Sunday’s game at home with Tennessee. Carroll said there is still no definite timeline on when Harvin may be able to start practicing.

Broncos biggest NFL favorite

Gambling: The Denver Broncos are the biggest favorite ever in an NFL game, a whopping four- touchdown pick Sunday at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Sports books in and around Las Vegas make Peyton Manning and the Broncos a 28-point favorite over Jacksonville. That’s unheard of in an industry where half-point swings can be huge and most teams are rated within a few points of each other.

But even the big line hasn’t stopped people from betting on Denver.

The Broncos are 5-0 and have scored the most points in the league, averaging 46 points a game. The Jaguars are 0-5 and have scored the fewest points in the league, averaging 10 points per game.
