Obituary: West, Ronald C.
Age 84
He was born on December 9th 1928 near St John, Washington to Marvin Millard West and Agnes Harriet (Herron) West.
Ronald was raised in the Palouse country but lived in Colville in his teen years and graduated High School there.
He went to trade school as a young man and became a sheet metal worker.
He married Shirley Roggow on December 11, 1949 and they started their family soon after.
Ron was a Sheet metal worker by trade, but a farmer at heart and always worked towards getting back to the farm.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Lyle, Millard, Howard and sisters: Mildred and Guinevere.
He is survived by his wife Shirley June (Roggow) West and his children Cheryl Lee (West) Volkman and husband Bob, Tammara Ann (West) Grant and husband Lindahl, Mellanie Kay (West) Ross and husband Phil, Clifford James West and wife Michelle, Kevin Leon West and wife Carrie, Rhonda Rae (West) Moon, Dougless Edison West and wife Jan, Wanda Lee (West) Lehman Terrien and husband Dan, Stacey Elisabeth (West) Holyoak and husband Derek: 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Frday October 11, 2013 from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM and Saturday October 12, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon at Danekas Funeral Home-Ritzville.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 PM at St John Cemetery and followed by a celebration of life at Endicott Seventh-Day Adventist Church 101 E Banta, Endicott, WA.
