Wiring stolen from vacant building on East Sprague

Thieves cut a hole in the wall of a vacant commercial building and stole $20,000 worth of wiring, the Spokane Valley Police Department said Thursday. The building is located on the 7500 block of East Sprague Avenue. Spokane Valley Police responded to a burglary call there Wednesday and contacted the real estate broker who is listing the property for sale, according to a news release. The broker said the burglary had taken place sometime between Sept. 30 and Oct. 9. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
