Spooky Spokane - Through Oct. 25. Tales of ghostly haunts, gin-running and cold-blooded murder are just a few of the dark secrets uncovered in this 90-minute walking tour around downtown beginning at the Fox Theater, a historic treasure that is home to an apparition or two, and continues over a 12-block radius. “From Spokane with Love” - Shahrokh Nikfar and the Peace and Justice Action League invite you to the world premiere of this movie about a friendship delegation from Spokane that went to Iran to try and bridge the gap of stereotypes and misinformation to bring their two peoples together. “An Evening with Burt Rutan” - One of America’s foremost entrepreneurs, aeronautical engineers and spacecraft designers will be featured in an exhibit of material related to his work. Rutan designed the legendary Voyager, the first aircraft to circle the world nonstop, without refueling. In 2004, Rutan made international headlines as the designer of SpaceShipOne, the world’s first privately built manned spacecraft to reach space. Rutan now lives in North Idaho. Great Futures Dinner and Auction - Presented by the Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County.
