Wrecks claimed three lives on North Idaho highways over the weekend.

Two Silver Valley residents died early Sunday morning in a head-on collision on Interstate 90 in Kellogg.

Melissa A. Connors, 32, of Osburn, and Shannon D. Wheeler, 38, of Silverton, died shortly before 2 a.m., Idaho State Police said.
