Obituary: Guthrie, Ilene Louise (Engard)
Age 66
She was born on September 24, 1947 to Robert and Helen (Senter) Engard in Spokane.
She graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle in 1965.
Following in her Father’s Footsteps, she was a talented artist and attended Burnley School of Professional Art.
She met and married the love of her life, Ted Guthrie in 1973.
Both were life members of the VFW and DAV.
Ilene is survived by her daughters, Amber Johnson and Nancy Guthrie of Spokane; three step-children, Kathy Paden, Ted Guthrie and Paula Hill, all of Alaska.
She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Engard Shaules, Spokane; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and step-daughter.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Ave. She will be inurned with her husband, Ted at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery, Medical Lake.
