Proceeds from HalloWine auction benefit North Pole Adventures

From Staff Reports

Buying wine in time for Halloween can help create special Christmas memories for children in need.

Part of the proceeds of the annual Harvest Moon & HalloWine Auction will benefit North Pole Adventures Spokane Fantasy Flight, which provides a holiday celebration for impoverished and at-risk children.

The charity organization offers a fantasy trip to the North Pole for 60 children ages 4 to 10 from area shelters and community programs.

The auction is hosted by the Inland NW Business Travel Association, a nonprofit group whose members represent major corporations, small businesses and travel suppliers.

The event takes place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center, 1100 N. Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley.

Tickets cost $45 per person and can be purchased online at www.inbta.org.
