Spokane Valley Mission Haunted Pool Today and Saturday, and Oct. 25-26. Fifth annual event. Geared for ages 12 and older, but open to all with a parent/guardian. Scarywood Theme Park Haunted Nights The theme park transforms with Blood Bayou, 3-Dementia, Zombiewood Express, Clown Zone and Timber Terror Running Backwards, plus several new attractions. Fridays-Saturdays through Oct. 26 from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. and Nov. 1-2 from 7 p.m.-midnight; Thursdays, through Oct. 24 from 6:30-11 p.m. Not recommended for children age 12 and younger. Haunted Zombie Hike Zombies lurk in the forest of Riverside State Park. Bring a group of friends and don’t stray off the path. Comfortable shoes and warm clothing recommended. Incredible Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch Enjoy 12 acres of maze, plus a separate haunted maze. Haunted maze is open Fridays 5-11 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sundays, noon-5 p.m. Other days open are Oct. 24, and 31, 6-10 p.m. and Oct. 27, noon-10 p.m. Field of Screams Haunted Maze continues Oct. 18-19, 24-27 and 31. Colville Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch A 12-acre corn maze that includes 10 numbered checkpoints. Hours are Mondays-Thursdays, 4 p.m.-dark, Fridays, 4- 9 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., through Oct. 31. Haunted Palouse 12th annual event with two haunted houses for ages 12 and older. Proceeds benefit the Palouse Community Center, Palouse Skateboard Park, Palouse Lions Club, Garfield-Palouse Athletic Club, Viking Crew, Roy Chatters Newspaper & Printing Museum and the Palouse Chamber of Commerce. Spooky Spokane Tales of ghostly haunts, gin-running and cold-blooded murder are just a few of the dark secrets uncovered in this 90-minute walking tour around downtown beginning at the Fox theater, which is home to an apparition or two, and continues over a 12-block radius.
