Save GOP from itself

It’s sad to see the once-respected Republican Party in such a mode of self-destruction. Since they took control of the House of Representatives in 2010, no significant legislation has been passed from that body.

Now controlled by right-wing extremists, they’ve patented a government-by-crisis plan of operation of which the current shutdown is the most recent chapter: Give us what we want or everything stops. You don’t negotiate with bullies. This is what you get when you elect people to office who hate their own government. The GOP caucus was cheering and high-fiving the shutdown, contrary to their public statements.

Remember this the next election. Let’s get our government operational again and save the GOP from itself.
