Obituary: Symms, Kenneth G.
He was born in Spokane, WA to the late Stanley H. Symms and Ruth Evelyn (Stalwick) Symms, of Bremerton, WA.
Kenneth was a graduate of the University of Washington-Seattle where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Doctor of Philosophy in Toxicology.
He was the founder and CEO of Environmental Standards Inc., Valley Forge, PA from 1987 until he retired in 2002, and was a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology.
He is survived by his two sons and their mother: Daniel Symms, of Wayne, PA; Lawrence C. Symms and wife Jennifer, of Ellicott City, MD; and Charlotte Symms, of Woodland, CA; grandsons: Henry and Nathan Symms; brothers: Richard Symms and wife Merlyn, of Bremerton, WA; and Stephen Symms, of Seattle, WA.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
