Hulett will return for 7th season with Indians

The Spokane Indians announced Wednesday that Tim Hulett, the longest-tenured manager in club history, will return for a seventh consecutive season in 2014.

Hulett guided the Indians to the Northwest League title in 2008 and managed the 2010 team that lost to Everett in the championship series. He was named NWL manager of the year in both seasons.

Hulett’s Indians finished 38-38 this season and just missed advancing to postseason. His career record with Spokane is 265-266.

“I’m excited to come back to Spokane for another season,” said Hulett, who spends his offseasons in Shreveport, La.
