Douthitt believes in mission

Representing the Spokane Public Schools board, Bob Douthitt and I have had the opportunity to serve on the Spokane Public Schools’ Foundation Board for the last five years. When Douthitt was first elected to the school board, he made a personal commitment to fully understand the district’s budget. And he does. He has brought that knowledge and understanding to the foundation board.

Douthitt has worked tirelessly for Spokane Public Schools. He has a strong belief in public education as the great equalizer and springboard for our democracy. Additionally, he has a strong commitment to raising the graduation rate of our children. Douthitt believes in public education and in the children of our community. Let’s keep him working for Spokane Public Schools.
