Gerald was born October 22, 1943 in Opportunity, WA.
He graduated from West Valley High School in 1962 and retired from Kaiser Aluminum in 1996.
He enjoyed playing the piano in which he was self-taught, spending time with his wife, family and grandchildren.
Gerald also enjoyed traveling when he and Karen were able.
Gerald is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda.
He is survived by his second wife, Karen Penniman; two sons, Jeff Penniman and his wife, Lola; Scott Penniman and his wife, Dana; daughter, Carolyn Rohrback; grandchildren, Alyssa Taylor, Justin Penniman, Robert Rohrback, Rebecca Rohrback, Katie Rohrback, Kayla Rohrback and Heather Penniman; his sister Diane Ferry of Spokane, WA, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 8, 2013 at The Pines Mausoleum, located at 1402 S. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
