Obituary: Rodrique, Nancy Ann

RODRIQUE, Nancy “Ann” Ann Rodrique passed away at home with her loving husband and family by her side on October 25th.

Ann married Rod (Joe) Rodrique in Ipswich, England on August 8, 1953.

She was a life-long volunteer for many charities and causes including the Red Cross, the Care and Share Thrift Store, Fairchild Air Force Base Pharmacy Refill Center and the Medical Lake High School library.

Ann worked for the Medical Lake School District for over 20 years.

She continued to substitute teach at Medical Lake High School into her late 70s.

Ann loved fishing (and always claimed to have caught the “biggest fish”), loved sports (especially her Detroit Tigers), loved conversations (“I have the floor!!

“), enjoyed cruising and laughing.

Ann loved Rod her husband and best friend of 60 years, her family, her many friends and of course her pets.

Her joyful spirit will be missed by her husband Rod, daughters Pat (Tim), Janis (Grant), Sandy (Jeff), her grandchildren; Terryl, Jennifer, Kevin (Courtney) and eight great-grandchildren; Mirissa, Tayler, Allison, Amanda, AJ, Justin, Maddy and Jake.

The Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, 219 E. Rockwood Blvd.

The interment will be at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
