Golson: Suspension due to poor judgment on test

Suspended Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson says he was suspended from the university for the fall semester for using “poor judgment on a test.” Golson had previously said he was suspended for using poor academic judgment, but in an interview with Sports Illustrated he specified that it came during a test. Asked directly if he cheated on a test, Golson said: “Yeeeeeeeaaaahhh, something like that.” He finished by saying he was going to leave it at poor judgment and what he did was a violation of the university’s honor code. Football team spokesman Michael Bertsch, said he couldn’t comment because of privacy laws. – AP
