More than 30 short films from local, regional, national and international filmmakers will be screened in three blocks. 4 Capitol Christmas Tree 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, INB Performing Arts Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. This year’s Capitol Christmas Tree is coming from the Colville National Forest. It’ll pass through the area on its way to Washington, D.C. 8 NAACP Panel Discussion 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Red Lion Inn at the Park, 303 W. North River Drive. This forum examines racial inequalities within educational and criminal justice systems and explores ways to eliminate the “school to prison pipeline” for youth of color.
