Obituary: Lancaster, Janet Lee

LANCASTER, Janet Lee Janet Lancaster, age 80, of Neenah, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 after a valiant fight against cancer.

She was born on February 17, 1933 in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of the late Eugene and Gertrude Kirk.

She graduated from Washington State University with a fine arts degree.

Janet spent most of her adult years in Neenah, WI.

The arts were her passion and she enjoyed attending plays, movies, and concerts.

Janet was involved in many artistic endeavors including knitting, crocheting, and quilting with her specialty being landscape quilting.

She was also a loyal bell ringer with the First Presbyterian Church Bell Choir in Neenah, WI.

Janet is survived by her children: Terry, Gilroy, CA; Mark (Cindy), Neenah, WI; Cindy (Jack) Bahlman, Verona, WI; and four grand- children: Kirk, Matthew, Anna, and Maggie.

A funeral service for Janet will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Church St., Neenah, WI.

Pastor Paul Huxtable will officiate.

Visitation will be Friday at the church from 5:00 P.M. to the time of service.
