 Pamela Russell-Elliott has been hired by the Community Colleges of Spokane as the operations manager for the Center for Workforce and Continuing Education. Russell-Elliott has more than 10 years of project management experience and previously served as a program coordinator at Eastern Washington University.

 Idaho Independent Bank has appointed Mark Hampe to vice president and commercial loan officer and Sue Ball to real estate loan officer at the IIB’s Coeur d’Alene branch. Hampe has 11 years of commercial lending experience and is a certified public accountant. He is a board member and treasurer of the North Idaho College Booster Club and a board member of Idaho Drug Free Youth. Ball has more than 24 years of experience in real estate lending and is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and the North Idaho Building Contractors Association.

 Wesley Teterud, a financial services professional, has been named to the 2013 Executive Council of New York Life Insurance Company. Council members are among the most successful licensed agents for New York Life.

 The Potlatch Corp. has appointed Jerald Richards as vice president and chief financial officer. Previously, Richards was with the Weyerhaeuser Co., where he most recently served as the chief accounting officer.

 Eric Stutzman has joined Etesian Wealth Advisors as a wealth advisor. Previously, he was with Abridge Partners and Summit Capital.

Health Care

 Paula Stiles has joined U-District Physical Therapy as a staff physical therapist.

 Touchmark on South Hill has named Thomas Roshetko as the director of operations. Previously, he spent 27 years in the Air Force leading clinical operations at medical centers, hospitals and clinics throughout the United States and Germany. Most recently, he served as the chief executive officer of the 92nd Medical Group at Fairchild Air Force Base.

Marketing

 Magner Sandborn has hired Karmen Blake as a senior solutions architect and Nicole Vander Meulen as a content strategist. Blake has more than 15 years of experience in developing web and mobile applications and was previously with Apple. Previously, Vander Meulen was a marketing communications specialist at The CashLINQ Group.

 Tod Locke, a graphic designer, won the American Miniature Horse Registry’s national contest for logo design submission for the 25th Anniversary National Show. Locke is with ProSign, Inc.

Nonprofit

 Partnering for Progress has appointed Dia Maurer as executive director. She has worked with several nonprofit organizations in Spokane.

 The Downtown Rotary Club 21 Innovative Community Service Through Business Award recipients are as follows: Nick Murto and Tyler Lafferty for Good Oats; Tony and Heather Villa for Bella Cova; and Juliet Sinisterra for Sun People Dry Goods.

Sales

 Exalenz Bioscience has named Gavin Doree as the vice president of sales. Previously, Doree was the national director and the director of strategic accounts at Medivators Inc. He also served as the director for sales for the West Region at Byrne Medical, Inc., a position for which he won Regional Director of the Year for three consecutive years.

Tourism

 Keith Backsen, vice president and director of sales at Visit Spokane, has received the Certified Destination Management Executive designation from the Destination Marketing Association International. Backsen has been with Visit Spokane since 2005 and was one of only 23 destination marketing organization professionals to earn the designation this year.
