National Weather Service issues flash flood warning

The U.S. National Weather Service has issued a flash flood alert for Eastern Washington.

A low pressure system will move into the region late Wednesday night, increasing the chance for showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. Between 1 to 2 inches of rain will fall in Northeast Washington and North Idaho between tonight and Friday evening.
