Obituary: Thomas, Patricia “Pat”

Age 88

THOMAS, Patricia “Pat” (Age 88) Passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Royal Park Care Center surrounded by her family.

Pat was born on March 12, 1925 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and grew up in Spokane.

She married Darwin “Tommie” Thomas in 1946 and moved to Salinas, California where she resided until returning to Spokane in 2004.

Pat was self-employed for over three decades, as a manufacturer of piano and organ bench covers and assisted her husband with his aircraft painting business.

Pat, her husband and oldest son also spent many years reconverting motor coaches and attended bus rallies in their own coach as members of the Family Motor Coach Association.

She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Sammi.

Pat is survived by her three children, Larry Thomas, Lorie (Ralph) Paquin, and Randy Thomas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA.

A private entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
