Authorities looking for Valley 7-11 robber

Spokane County sheriff’s deputies are seeking a man suspected of robbing a Spokane Valley convenience store early Saturday morning.

At 5 a.m., deputies responded to a call of a man who’d entered the 7-11 at North Park Road and East Broadway Avenue wearing black nylon over his face and a gray hooded sweatshirt, according to a news release. The man pointed a gun at the employee and demanded money.

The robber fled with cash and deputies unsuccessfully tried to track him, according to the release. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
