Obituary: Bisson, Dolores J.

BISSON, Dolores J.

On September 2, 2013, our mother joined the love of her life, Allan, her husband of 67 years in Heaven.

Mom was born on March 16, 1926 to Frank and Vera Hink.

Although mom never learned to drive a car she traveled far.

In her early 20’s she traveled by herself on a Navy transport to join her husband who was stationed in Hawaii.

Together, mom and our father, Al, raised four sons.

She was very active with school functions, PTA, Boy Scouts and church.

Mom and dad were lifetime members of the Moose Lodge and went dancing most Saturday nights.

She loved working with her crafts and was a wonderful seamstress.

She crocheted toys and blankets for all her children and grandchildren.

The prototypical stay-at-home mom, she loved her time in the kitchen, cooking and baking.

Every member of her family always got their special birthday dinner.

Dad was co-owner of A & R Chevron and mom took care of all the book work.

Mom and dad will be remembered by their family: Alan and Diane Bisson; Randy and Paula Bisson; Todd and Chris Bisson, and Brad and Laurel Bisson; seven grandchildren and many great-grand- children.

The family would like to thank Manor Care for the wonderful care and support during her last years.
