He was born and lived his entire life in Spokane, Washington.
He attended Hamilton Grade School, Rogers High School, Shadle Park High School and two years at Spokane Community College.
He was a welder, body and fender, painter and diesel mechanic.
He was in the trade for 37 years.
Survived by his wife Cheryl of 53 years; daughters Christine, Brenda, Debby; six grandchildren Belinda, Kyle, Travis, Derek, Jason, Jared; one sister Sharon Larson; and three nieces.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
