Area residents graduate from basic military training
Several area residents have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
• Air Force Airman Micah Gabel graduated from Mount Spokane High School in 2011. He is the nephew of Spokane resident Chris Bethely.
• Air Force Airman Collin Becker is the son of Tawnya Becker, of Spokane Valley, and a 2012 graduate of West Valley High School.
• Air Force Airman Devin Kirby is a 2012 graduate of Mount Spokane High School. He is the son of Kathy Schierman, of Spokane Valley, and Mike Kirby, of Colbert.
• Air Force Airman Alex McClendon is the son of Theresa McClendon and Gregory Watson, of Spokane. He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 2012.
• Air Force Airman Wesley Bjorklund graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 2012 and is the son of Tina Bjorklund, of Spokane.
• Air Force Airman 1st Class Corbin Jarms is the son of Spokane resident Daniel Jarms and a 2009 graduate of North Central High School.
• Air Force Airman 1st Class Justin Zimmerman is a 2010 graduate of Ferris High School. He is the son of Kelly Zimmerman and Lea Justus, both of Spokane.
• Air Force Airman Jonathon Eide is the son of John Eide, of Spokane, and a 2012 graduate of North Central High School.
• Air Force Airman Brandy Johnson graduated from Central Valley High School in 2010. She is the granddaughter of LaDonna Winters, of Spokane.
• Air Force Airman Justin Clifford is a 2012 graduate of West Valley High School and the son of Spokane residents Bill and Kris Clifford.
Several area residents have graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson. Columbia, S.C.
• Army Pvt. Joseph Murray is the son of Laurence Murray, of Spokane, and a 2010 graduate of Mount Spokane High School.
• Army Pvt. Konor Robinson graduated from University High School in 2011.
• Army National Guard Pvt. Autumn Ladines is the daughter of Spokane residents David and Rose Ladines. She graduated in 2012 from Liberty High School.
• Army Pvt. Kevin Williams is the son of Mark Cottingham, of Spokane Valley.
• Army Pvt. Eliott Marsh has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Mary Marsh, of Spokane, and a 2003 graduate of Rogers High School.
