Big Brother on wheels: Police installed two upgraded Automatic License Plate Readers early last month, and report they’re helping catch more vehicle thieves. But the American Civil Liberties Union is concerned they may see too much.

Moving on: Just three months after the death of Lidwina Dirne, the founder of the Dirne Community Health Center, administrators painted a picture of a fresh future for the nonprofit care provider.
