Spokane accident sends two to hospital

A motorcycle driver died Tuesday afternoon after colliding with a truck driver.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital, the motorcycle driver with life-threatening injuries, after they collided.

The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Trent and Mission avenues. Trent Avenue will be closed for several hours, in both directions, as will eastbound Mission Avenue.

Spokane Police Department Major Crimes detectives from the Traffic Unit are investigating.

Police are asking anyone who saw the accident to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
