Kindermusik Holy Names Music Center is now enrolling kids, ages 2-6, for Kindermusik, beginning Oct. 4. The music classes will help kids develop skills they need to learn and grow, from head to toe. Spokane Heart & Stroke Walk and 5K Run The 5K walk is noncompetitive and the 5K run is chipped and timed. Proceeds help prevent and treat heart disease and stroke, the No. 1 and No. 4 killers of Americans. Out of the Darkness Community Walk Walker registration at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. along the Centennial Trail. “A Porcupine Named Fluffy” Fluffy wants to become fluffier, so he decides to climb a tree and pretend to be a cloud. He even poses as a pillow. Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale The Friends of the Spokane Public Library begin their fall sale with the members only presale.
