MAC serves up music, art at free evening party

There’s nothing better than a night out filled with art and music, but such things usually come with a hefty price tag.

It’s a good thing, then, that the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture’s BeGin! events are still coming at us, because they’re among the best, most eclectic local arts events that won’t cost you anything.

Admission to the MAC will be free from 6 to 8 p.m., and local hip-hop five-piece Lilac Linguistics will provide music in the museum’s outdoor amphitheater. Graffiti artist Mario DeLeon will also be on hand to present his work.

A no-host beer and wine bar will be available for those with valid IDs.
