Fracking film

PacifiCAD, The Land Council and Too Far North Productions are teaming up to bring the documentary “Gasland Part II” to Spokane’s Bing Crosby Theater on Sept. 24.

Josh Fox, who wrote and directed 2010’s Oscar-nominated “Gasland,” returns in this sequel produced by HBO. In the sequel, Fox returns to three communities to see how lives have been affected by nearby hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking.”

The screening is free, and will be followed by a panel discussion. The Bing is at 901 W. Sprague Ave. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/TooFarNorthProductions.
