Obituary: Rothman, Robert Stanley
Age 89
He was born on June 16, 1924 in New York, NY to Murray S. and Helen Braverman Rothman.
Bob’s younger elementary years included various boarding schools in Southern California.
He graduated from High School in 1942.
In December of 1947, he married Catherine Jean Cuthill in Glendale, CA.
They were married 38 years living in Orange County, when Catherine passed in 1986.
His employment included various sales positions, and a bank appraisal inspector.
He married Delores Curd in August of 1988.
They retired to Suncrest area, WA when his son Max was stationed at Fairchild, AFB.
Bob’s hobbies included fishing, photography, flying, and later swimming and woodworking.
Many friends received his gifts of wood.
Delores passed in 1997.
Bob married Madre Kuhle in October of 2012.
He was a long-time member of Toastmasters International, and Suncrest Family Worship Center.
He is survived by his spouse, Madre; three children, daughter Shelley (George Conlisk); daughter Bonnie (Jim Croker); and son Max (Jan) Rothman; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Besides his first two wives, he is preceded in death by three great-grandchildren.
We will miss his gentle charm, his rock-solid faith, and his joyful humor.
His memorial service will be Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 1 PM at TumTum Community Center, 6424 Highway 291, Nine Mile Falls, WA near mile marker 18.
