Tonight’s NFL game: Chiefs at Eagles
Records: Chiefs (2-0), Eagles (1-1) Time: 5:25 p.m. TV: NFL Network Line: Eagles by 3; Over/Under: 50 1/2
Synopsis: I have to echo a sentiment that has been circulating around the Eagles’ locker room this week: It sure is weird seeing former coach Andy Reid wearing the red of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Reid, the Eagles’ all-time winningest coach, spent 14 seasons in Philly and was fired after last season’s 4-12 fiasco.
Reid brought his West Coast offense to the 2-0 Chiefs and they have the No. 3 ranked defense.
Last season, these were two of the worst teams against the spread (ATS). KC was tied with Oakland for 31st at 5-11 ATS, while Philly was dead last (3-12-1 ATS).
The Eagles have dropped seven straight games (and covers) at the Linc, and are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 home games.
I think Reid will hand Philly a second straight Eagles home loss.
The pick: Chiefs
