Worth the ‘Damn’ drive

My spouse and I were delighted with Lake City’s production of “Damn Yankees” on Sept. 14. Your reviewer said, “Not quite a home run.” Maybe true, but it was a triple.

The cast and crew were a hit. The venue is first rate. The music and dancing were excellent.

Perhaps this reflects the difference between opening night and following performances. In any case, we think that it was worth a trip to Coeur d’Alene for live theater.
