Valleyfest 2013

25th annual event lifts off at 6:40 a.m. today with Balloons Over Valleyfest. Event includes live music, food, community walks, car show, robotics demonstrations, vendor booths and a Comedy Cup Open.

Plain White T’s

Spokane Symphony: Virtuosity Required

The first Classics concert of the 2013-14 season under the baton of Eckart Preu. Ilya Kaler will perform Samuel Barber’s difficult Violin Concerto. Other music selections include Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien and Béla Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra. A preconcert talk will be held in the hall one hour before each performance.
