On Sept. 6, 2013, Reed “Sunshine” Gjonnes, 13, hiking with her father, Eric “Balls” Gjonnes, finished the Continental Divide Trail at Waterton Lakes National Park, Canada, to become the youngest person to complete the Triple Crown of long-distance hiking: The CDT, the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail.
