Obituary: Ross, George Thomas, Jr.

ROSS, George Thomas, Jr. “Tom” 6/21/1935 - 7/8/2013 Tom was born in Paducca, Texas and moved to Wallace, Idaho when he was still very young.

He settled in Spokane, married, and had three children.

He called Spokane home for over 50 years.

During this time he served in the Army Reserve during the Korean conflict.

Tom was always a people person and had an outgoing personality, he had the gift of conversation and really listened to people.

As evident by his career choice of furniture sales for almost 40 years.

He was always busy and had a project in process.

He taught this to his children.

Upon retiring he moved to Pinehurst Texas and continued his active participation in the Church of Christ.

He loved his family, friends and congregation.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife Claire, parents George and Beatrice Ross and brother Wendell.

He is survived by sister Darlene and brother Robert, children Thomas (Sandra), Wendy Jean (Duane) and Lisa.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on September 27, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Pines Cemetery on 16th and Pines, Spokane Valley.
