The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a man who robbed a Spokane Valley convenience store earlier this month. Surveillance cameras at the 7-11 located at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and North Park Road captured a man entering the store and immediately pointing a handgun at the clerk around 5 a.m. on Sept. 7. The man, clad in a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black nylon mask, fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash after about 30 seconds. Attempts to track the robber using a K9 unit were unsuccessful, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. Those with information about the robbery are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS or submit a tip online at crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org. A cash reward is being offered for tips leading to an arrest.
