Hurricane trivia was incorrect

The state of Maine has had a hurricane that made landfall. An Accuweather trivia question in the Sept. 6 issue of The Spokesman-Review incorrectly reported that no hurricanes had made landfall in Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Additionally, while other states in the list have had hurricanes make landfall, Accuweather considers the first state where the hurricane made landfall as the primary landfall state.
