MAC is free on Saturday

The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture is taking part in Smithsonian Magazine’s “museum day live” Saturday, offering free admission to those who download tickets through the magazine’s website.

More than 1,500 museums nationwide are taking part in the event. Others in the Inland Northwest include the Museum of North Idaho in Coeur d’Alene and the Bonner County Historical Society and Museum in Sandpoint.

The free tickets include admission for two people.
