Capt. Martin Badertscher of the U.S. Forest Service reported Wednesday the $2,500 theft of five Stihl chain saws from the Fernan Ranger Station on the 2500 block of East Sherman Ave.
Frances Mullane reported Wednesday the $1,500 theft of two bicycles from a storage unit on the 1900 block of West Bellerive Lane.
Dean Hutchings reported Thursday the $500 theft of a silver Diamondback mountain bike and the $10 theft of a padlock from a residence on the 1800 block of West Bellerive Lane.
Kootenai County sheriff
Thomas Clark, Post Falls, reported Thursday the $200 theft of a Dell computer, $200 of jewelry and $900 of miscellaneous tools from a vehicle parked at the intersection of West Wyoming Avenue and North Highway 41 in Rathdrum.
