UNLV 56, New Mexico 42: Quarterback Caleb Herring and receiver Devante Davis hooked up for three TDs to help the Rebels outlast New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M., despite the Lobos having three 100-yard rushers for the first time in school history.

Tennessee 31, South Alabama 24: Brian Randolph made a game-clinching, fourth-and-goal interception in the end zone with 1:51 left as the Volunteers (3-2) squandered most of a 24-point lead before holding off the Jaguars (2-2) in Knoxville, Tenn.
