Obituary: Carothers, Connie Jean (N’Ee Forsyth)

CAROTHERS, Connie Jean (nÄ‚Ĺ e Forsyth) (Age 59) Mother to many and friend to all, Connie’s spirit ascended peacefully at 11:46 a.m. on September 26, 2013.

As she left this earthly life, Connie was encircled by the enduring love of her four boys, Ryan (and his wife Yvonne), Carson, Landon, and Colton, and that of her dear sister Ronna.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Liam, Alice, Averie, and Malone, her brother Dennis, and Carson’s wife, Chelsea.

As a young girl, she rode horses with her father, D.R., and learned her “world renowned” cooking skills from her mother, Alice.

Connie also loved arts and crafts, spending time with her family, karate, making holidays special, and, of course, cowboys.

As a young adult, she was active at work with Central Valley School District and in her callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Connie will be remembered for her judgment-free compassion and care, and for always making a person feel loved and understood.

She made every day a special occasion for her boys; she was their best friend, confidante, source of laughter, and bearer of many gifts.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Spokane-Cheney Memorial Gardens, 5909 Cheney Spokane Road.
