Obituary: Dalla, Lidwina E.

DALLA, Lidwina E. Lidwina passed away in Spokane on September 27, at the age of 69.

She was born in Delta, CO on April 4, 1944 to Lawrence and Rena Wassinger.

She married Ron Dalla on December 29, 1962 in Delta, CO. She is survived by her husband and her children; sons Steven and Brian, both of Spokane and their daughter Rebecca Dalla of Spokane.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

She has lived in Spokane for 30 years and in Cheney, WA prior to that for 13 years.

Lidwina lived life to the fullest.

Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.

She managed to spoil all three of her granddaughter’s in a way that reflected her “only-child syndrome” as Ron used to say.

Lidwina and Ron celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage on December 29, 2012.

Their love grew daily over these fifty years.

Lidwina inspired Ron to be a better person with the example she set.

Lidwina loved to visit with people.

She informed Ron that, after he retired, he needed to let her visit and just “go sit in the car” if necessary.

Lidwina’s joy of living are reflected in the way that her children and grandchildren “seize the day”.
