He was the eighth of ten children born to Paul and Belle (Caudill) Kraemer.
Hugh was born June 29, 1925 in Sprague, Washington.
All of his family preceded him in death.
He attended Sprague Public Schools and joined the Navy in 1942 serving in both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres during WWII.
He worked for Northern Pacific Railroad and the Washington State Department of Transportation, in the highway maintenance department.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Evelyn; and son John R. Kraemer.
Not to be forgotten is his faithful deputy, Jade, the family dog.
Memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sprague at 11:00 am.
Inurnment will follow at Maccabee cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to Sprague Volunteer Firefighters or St John’s Lutheran Church in Sprague.
