Obituary: Murray, James Vernon

MURRAY, James Vernon (Age 55) Passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2013.

He lived in Spokane, WA all of his life and enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting; as well as being an avid sports fan, and a huge fan of the Seattle Supersonics and Seahawks.

James was also an animal lover.

James was a cook for 25 years and really enjoyed preparing Chinese food.

During his career he worked at Peking North and Applebee’s restaurants.

James was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Kjos, and his brother, Bradley Kjos.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Kjos; three brothers, Neil Kjos (Dori), Mark Kjos, and Michael Kjos (Cristel); three sisters, Tammy Deering (David), Tina Holtmann (Patrick), and Wendy Morales; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at 11:00am at the Advent Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, WA.

Donations can be made in James name to the Humane Society or to SCRAPS.
