Obituary: Robinson, Michael A.

Age 76

ROBINSON, Michael A. December 28, 1937- March 27, 2014 Mike passed away peaceably the morning of March 27th at Sacred Hearth Hospital.

He moved on to Heaven to join his wife, Bernadine, mother, Marie, sister, Jean and brothers Jackie and Jimmy.

Born in Kellogg, Idaho, the family moved to Spokane in 1941.

Mike grew up in Spokane and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary, and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1956.

Mike was a devoted husband, and loving father.

He always put others before himself.

Family always came first.

We it came to his four children, he was loyal and selfless.

Mike knew the key to happiness, it was his family and God before all else.

Mike is now dancing with the Angels and will be forever loved and missed by all.

Mike worked many years for the Washington Air National Guard and then was a sales rep for Brystol Myers.

Being declared legally blind with Macular Degeneration, he was employed by Inland NW Lighthouse for the Blind.

Mike had many talents.

He learned to play the organ and harmonica, all by ear and also the bagpipes.

He also made music boxes from scratch and was an amazing artist.

Mike was an accomplished ballroom dancer that was the envy of all who witnessed his sophisticated style.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Jamie and Denni; son, Paul, all of Spokane; son, Steven of San Diego, CA.

; brothers Patrick of Tempe, AZ and Bill of Spokane, and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas More on Friday, April 4th at 11am, and inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery, with reception following.
