Obituary: Ladyman, Mary Ann
Age 68
Mary Ann succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease after a nine year battle.
She died peacefully at home with family by her side.
Mary Ann was born in Spokane, WA to Augie and Katie Reinhardt on January 13, 1946.
She graduated from Rogers High School where she was a member of the Lady Pirates Drill Team.
Mary Ann married her sweetie, Harold Ladyman in September of 1967.
They lived a beautiful life and Mary Ann fully embraced her role as wife, mom and later, grandma.
They enjoyed fun family vacations and lots of weekends on the soccer fields with their many friends.
Mary Ann began her own small business cleaning houses and quickly discovered that she also had a keen eye for interior design.
She made every place she went a little more beautiful, either with her design or her sunny smile.
Mary Ann loved walking and spent many, many afternoons and miles enjoying the outdoors and chatting with girlfriends.
Travel was a real love of Mary Ann’s.
One of her favorite places was Kona, HI where she and Harold made wonderful memories and friends.
After her Alzheimer’s diagnosis, she continued living her life to the fullest with Harold and close friends and family by her side.
We find much comfort now knowing that Mary Ann is able to take those famous walks again on the beaches of Heaven with her daughter Lisa at her side.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Harold Ladyman; and son Mike (Char) Ladyman; her two grandsons Will and Caleb; her brothers Denny (Penny) Reinhardt and David (Barbara) Reinhardt; and sister Eleanor Halsey as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents August and Katherine Reinhardt and her beautiful daughter Lisa Ladyman.
A Memorial Service will be held at South Hill Bible Church, 958 E. 29th Ave. Spokane, WA on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Spokane or the Inland Northwest Alzheimer’s Association.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Harbor Glen Memory Care Unit for their love and care of Mary Ann during her final year and to Hospice of Spokane for making her final days peaceful.
