Water story buried

John Owens, in his March 31 letter, took the television media to task concerning the poor job reporting the recent problem with our water here in the Pasadena Park Water District. I wholeheartedly agree with him, as he was correct on all counts.

A large finger should also be pointed at The Spokesman-Review. The small article buried in your Briefs section did not cut it. How many found those few words? Meanwhile, a subsequent front-page article headlining, “City dogs find country homes” took precedent over a community health issue.

Yes, shame on TV news reporting for not putting their friends and neighbors first; the same goes for our daily newspaper. Pasadena should have done a better job informing us as well.
