Summer passes for the attractions at Riverfront Park are available for $40 in honor of the park’s 40th anniversary.

But buy now – that price is only good through Sunday.

“It’s the best price of the season,” said Debby Dodson, the downtown park’s assistant manager.

The price rises to $50 on April 14 and $65 on May 27.

The attractions are open for the season at Riverfront Park, which is marking four decades since its creation for Expo ’74.

Season passes at the park are good for unlimited turns on the 13 amusement park rides at the Pavilion, the Looff Carrousel and the park’s “tour train,” which takes 30-minute spins through the park.

Pass holders also get unlimited admissions to the park’s miniature golf course and the 40-minute features at its Imax theater, which plans to show seven titles this summer, Dodson said.

The passes don’t work for the Spokane Falls SkyRide, but pass holders can get a $2 discount.

The $40 price applies to everyone 3 and older. Children 2 and younger can visit the attractions free with a paying adult (one free child per adult).

The regular season passes aren’t transferable, but the park sells a transferable pass for $150 that allows users two day passes a day.
